Yes it’s thick

" It’s thick and sturdy. Use hairdryer when applying as directed. 3M 90 CA adhesive provided extra stickiness in tough situations. Seems sticky enough for shelf liner and aids in Pulling heavy objects irrelevant m shelves.
As this can easily be used as wallpaper and not just backsplash or liner material, I would highly recommend packaging be a minimum of 8 feet and perhaps include a double roll option too. I also hope introduction is successful to allow adequate inventory on the shelves at Amazon. I found it frustrating wanting to order four or six of items and not being able to because of inventory shortage. Furthermore,no assurance that more profuct would be forthcoming."
